Daily Poll 981: What Do You Think of Rationalism?
When the age of enlightenment came about there was an explosion of philosophical thought and one school of philosophy that came about was rationalism. Rationalism asserts that the mind is the only way that one can obtain knowledge and understand the world. Given the fact that our senses or limited and can be deceived along with the reality of how advanced the human mind is in comparison to every other animal; this does seem like a logical conclusion.
