Daily Poll 934: What Do You Think of Franklin D. Roosevelt?
The 32nd President of the United States whose leadership allowed America to weather the Great Depression and World War II. He was the only President to serve more than two terms, having been elected to four and serving three in their entirety. He had polio but he was still a strong leader despite his poor health. The New Deal expanded the role and spending of the Federal Government. That along with the militarization as a result of World War II which laid the foundation for the US’ modern military industrial complex is a poor legacy in my eyes. What do you think?
