Daily Poll 1450: Should the Voting Age Be Lowered?
The voting age is 18 in the United States and that was lowered to 21 over the fallout that many who fought in Vietnam were old enough to die in war but too young to vote for the politicians who drafted them. Many people have advocated for voters to be even younger. Democracy is inherently flawed and that’s true regardless of voting age. Although with how ignorant young people are; I would expect the political process to get worse if the voting age got lowered.
