  Daily Poll 1449: Can Anything Be Self-Evident?

  Foundationalism is the idea that certain ideas are so basic that they don’t need to be justified. They beliefs are thought to be self-evident. As with every theory in philosophy it’s of course been deconstructed and criticized. I agree with the criticism in that all beliefs need justification and nothing can truly be self-evident since worldviews vary radically. What about you?
