Daily Poll 1279: Did Musk Do a Good Job with DOGE?
Musk’s time as a special government employee has ended recently. DOGE dominated the news cycle for supposedly ruining the entire government and gutting everything good and useful so Musk could enrich himself and other billionaires. That’s clearly a false narrative and DOGE has been more hype than material benefit in terms of actually achieving its stated goals. The government is inherently inefficient and DOGE did a good job of exposing that. I’m just not certain that it will stay in people’s minds long enough to affect change. What do you think?
