  Daily Poll 1225: Can Islam Be Reformed?

  Islam has existed for about 14 centuries and unlike Christianity has not been subject to any major period of reformation. For most of its history Islam has embraced fundamentalism and embraced a restrictive jurisprudence. The negative aspects of the hadith and sharia law persist in Muslim majority countries to this day. There is a possibility of reformation but I think it’s unlikely. What do you think?
