Daily Poll 1215: Is Lying Ever Justified?
While in most cases lying is clearly immoral there are some cases where it can be considered as a good. Lying to protect someone from persecution or the white lies we tell to shelter people’s feelings are not as clearly immoral intentional deceit. While we shouldn’t bear false witness; there are lies that fall out of the purview of that and can thus be considered moral. What do you think? Don’t forget to vote on the poll and to comment below!
