  Daily Poll 1027: What Do You Think of Idolatry?

  The opposite of Iconoclasm is idolatry which is the worship of idols instead of God. Idolatry has a negative and heretical connotation given how much of the world is dominated by Christendom and Islam which both forbid Idolatry. In the Pagan world icons and idols are major aspects of spirituality and many early religious practices developed around worshipping idols and sacrificing to them. For me personally I don’t think Icons are necessary to be spiritual. What do you think? Don’t forget to vote on the poll and to comment below!
